1. Introduction

Welcome to Bondly! These Terms of Service define the rules for using the Bondly mobile app, which helps owners of dogs and cats organise and manage health information and daily care for their pets.

By using the app, you accept the following terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account or using the app in guest mode, you confirm that:

• You have read these Terms of Service
• You accept all its provisions
• You are at least 18 years old
• You have the right to manage your pets' data

3. Nature of the App

3.1. Scope of Functionality

The app allows you to:

• Maintain pet profiles (dogs and cats)
• Track health history, vaccinations, and medications
• Plan veterinary appointments
• Access educational materials about pets
• Set reminders for important dates

3.2. What the App is NOT

• ❌ A diagnostic tool
• ❌ A source of medical advice
• ❌ A substitute for a vet visit
• ❌ A real-time health monitoring system

5. User Account

5.1. Registration

To use the full features of the app, you must create an account by providing:

• Email address
• Password (stored in encrypted form)
• Name (optional)

5.2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• All actions performed on your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

5.3. Guest Mode

You can use the app without registration (guest mode), however data will not be synced across devices and may be lost if the app is uninstalled.

6. App Features

6.1. Pet Profiles

You can create profiles for your pets (dogs and cats), including:

• Basic information (name, species, breed, date of birth)
• Photos
• Health history
• Veterinary documents

6.2. Health Data

You can record:

• Veterinary visits
• Vaccinations
• Medications and supplements
• Weight and measurements
• Parasite protection

6.3. Access Sharing

You can share a pet profile with other users (e.g. family members, caretakers). You have full control over the access level and can revoke it at any time.

7. User Responsibility

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Use the app in accordance with the law
• Not publish illegal, offensive, or rights-infringing content
• Not use the app in a way that could disrupt its operation
• Independently verify medical information with a vet

8. Limitation of Liability

The Bondly app:

• ⚠️ Does NOT guarantee the accuracy of educational content (for informational purposes only)
• ⚠️ Does NOT replace professional veterinary care
• ⚠️ Does NOT accept liability for data loss resulting from device failure or app uninstallation

In case of any health issues with your pet, consult a vet immediately.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights to the Bondly app, including:

• Source code
• Design and user interface
• Logo and trademarks
• Educational content

...belong to the app creators and are protected by copyright.

Copying, modifying, or distributing the app without consent is prohibited.

10. Free Service and Bondly Pro Subscription

The core functionality of the Bondly app is free and contains no ads or hidden fees. The app may display sponsored content from partners in the pet and veterinary industry — contextual only, without individual user profiling.

10.1. Bondly Pro Subscription

The app offers an optional, paid Bondly Pro subscription that unlocks additional features marked as “Pro” in the app. Using the app's core features does not require a subscription.

Bondly Pro is available in the following options:

• monthly subscription (auto-renewing)
• annual subscription (auto-renewing)
• lifetime purchase (one-time payment, non-renewing)

Current prices are shown in the app before purchase, in the currency and pricing applicable to your App Store or Google Play account.

10.2. How to Purchase and Payment

Subscriptions can only be purchased through the built-in payment mechanisms of the Apple App Store (in-app purchase) or Google Play (Google Play Billing). Bondly does not accept payments directly and does not process your payment card data — billing, invoicing, and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google, in accordance with their terms and refund policies.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, which synchronizes your subscription status across devices (see Privacy Policy, section 6).

10.3. Renewal, Cancellation and Refunds

• Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store / Google Play account settings, or in the app under “Manage subscription”.
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's policy — Bondly is not able to issue refunds directly for payments made through the store.
• Ending or cancelling a subscription does not delete data stored in the app — once the subscription period ends, Pro features are locked while the app's core features remain available.

The operator reserves the right to change the scope of Pro features and pricing, while keeping a free basic plan, and will give active subscribers reasonable notice of material changes.

11. Contract Termination

11.1. Account Deletion by the User

You can delete your account at any time through the app settings. Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data.

11.2. Suspension/Deletion by Admin

We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account in case of:

• Violation of the Terms of Service
• Illegal activities
• Attempts to disrupt app operation

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by Polish law.

Any disputes will be resolved by the courts with jurisdiction over the app creators' registered address, subject to mandatory rules on court jurisdiction.

Users will be informed of material changes to these Terms with at least 14 days' notice via an in-app notification or email.
